This map was printed in Amsterdam by Sumptibus Ioannis Iambonii and hand colored.The map represents Neapolitanum Regnum - the Kingdom of Naples in today's Southern Italy.This map is a part of an atlas for commercial navigation, done by the well known and sought after engraver Ioannis Iambonius. It is translated in Spanish - the rarest of all languages this map was edited on. We think that if not the first, it is a very early edition indeed.On the back there are two pages of explanations and history on the subject.It has a wonderful cartouche, depicting Coat-of-Arms, angels and other figures.
