Stuart Clingman for John Widdicomb, early Danish modern. This set includes dining table with 3 leaves, two armchairs and 6 side chairs; china cabinet/breakfront and console. Of the finest cherry with brass hardware.  In excellent condition for it's age. The specs: Dining table: measures 66" long, 43 7/8" wide, 29 1/2" high.  Comes with 3 leaves, each measuring 18" for a total table length of 120" when fully utilized. Table is in excellent condition for it's age...no chips or gouges.  Some light surface scratches which will buff out easily. Table pads are included...they show their age but will be functional until replaced.  Table includes center legs for support when all leaves are in use.  The bracket which stores these legs needs a repair. Dining chairs:  2 arm and 6 side chairs are included in this lot.  32" high, 23 1/2" wide, 20" deep.  Chairs have their original upholstered seats.  Fabric is worn from age.  The new owner will want to reupholster. China cabinet: 74" high, 68.5" long, 20.5" deep.  Vertical tambour doors on either side.  Left opens to reveal three storage shelves plus 2 vertical tray storage slots.  Tambour door on right opens to reveal removable hardwood caddy, plus storage shelves.  Doors on upper cabinet weaved in leather over brass, in MINT condition.  Includes 4 drawers, silver padding in top drawer.  Brass hardware. Console: 33" high, 48 1/2" long, 15 1/8" deep.  Horizontal tambour door lifts up to reveal 3 deep drawers.  Notice the scratch running down the front of the three drawers.  This can be touched up with a scratch cover, and isn't visible when the tambour doors are down.  This is the only major flaw in the set! Three leaves come with their own felt lined storage crate.
